When the history of contemporary moral theology comes to be written, the name of Bernard Haring, CSSR, will occupy a prominent place. His work has made a great impact on moral theology, and he is well-known for his identification with many of the Vatican II concilliar views and for his remarkable capacity for keeping abreast of developments in a wide range of disciplines.
